The year is 2084. A new technology has emerged which allows for the digitalization and storage of memories. From this technology, a new social network has emerged to take the world by storm. Think Facebook is big? This one's bigger.
In order to experience these memories, people are fitted with a gadget known as a Sensation Engine (Sensen device for short). Whatever can be digitized can be controlled, and the advent of the Sensation Devices have (unsurprisingly) led to a surveillance state where memories - and people- are tightly monitored and controlled. Naturally, Memoreyes - the corporation behind this technology - has become one of the most powerful organizations in the world, sitting right at the heart of everything.

For some reason, she was considered dangerous enough for the organization to imprison her, wiping her memory in the process. The title thus centers around Nilin's search for answers; what was it that Memoreyes didn't want her to know?
