THQ Cancels Saint's Row: Drive-By for Xbox 360 and PS3

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: GD Staff

According to the LinkedIn profile of Scott Rogers, Creative Manager at THQ, Saints Row Drive-By has been cancelled for XBLA and PSN, though it appears the game will go forward on Nintendo 3DS. Also, Saint's Row: The Third is still in development for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

The revelation comes from a simple list of games he's manged in his professional profile. The entry reads:

Saint's Row Drive-By (cancelled) (PSN, XBLA)

THQ and Volition have not confirmed the cancellation officially, but the news is likely true, regardless.

In addition to the cancellation news, Scott Rogers is apparently managing the development of at least three unannounced titles for THQ. One will launch for PSN and XBLA, another for PS3 and Xbox 360, and the last for iPad. The first entry uses the plural form of "title", so perhaps multiple arcade games are being produced by THQ.
