First Multiplayer Details of Assassin's Creed Revelations Surface
A few days ago, Ubisoft officially announced Assassin's Creed Revelations for HD consoles and PC, hinting that an expanded, more customizable multiplayer offering is in the works.
In an interview with GameInformer, Andreane Meunier, the Live Team Producer of Assassin’s Creed Revelations, went into a bit more depth concerning the online features heading to the last entry in the Ezio trilogy.
Of course, fan-favorite modes and features from Brotherhood will make their way back into Revelations, but a number of new story-driven modes will also make an appearance. Apparently, the new setting of Constantinople will help tell the tale of the Templar-founded Abstergo corporation in a far greater manner than what was done in Brotherhood, as players take on the role of an Abstergo Industries employee working their way up the company ladder.
In addition, the sea of clones that made up the Animus environments will be done away with in favor of somewhat more unique characters sporting details customized by players.
Finally, playlists (which let players pair their favorite maps and modes), guild customizations, and new community features round out the multiplayer offering in Assassin's Creed Revelations. Ubisoft's goal is to bring a more streamlined and robust online experience to consumers.
