Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Becomes a Video Game

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: GD Staff

That’s right, Parrotheads, publisher THQ is working with famed singer / song writer Jimmy Buffett to bring Margaritaville Online to Facebook and iOS.

“The Margaritaville laidback state of mind is inherently social, and THQ has captured the spirit of that lifestyle in this game,” Buffet told Billboard.

The world of Margaritaville Online will be fully 3D, unlike many other games featured on Facebook (Cityville, Farmville), and players will be granted access to Buffett’s full musicial anthology. Various mini-games will also be a feature of the experience, as well as visits from character’s from Buffett’s past novels. Heck, players may even get a chance to have a cheeseburger in paradise.

A release date has yet to be established.
