Dead Space 3 details emerge; set on an ice planet?

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: JC Marx

According to a "mole" within Electronic Arts that has reported to Siliconera, Dead Space 3 is not only in development, but the next entry in the horror franchise will take place on Tau Volantis – a frozen planet wracked by blizzards.

Apparently, Isaac Clarke will crash-land on the frozen orb, eventually hooking up with Dead Space veteran character Ellie Langford as well as with a newcomer, Jennifer.

In addition to the setting and character details, it was also revealed that perhaps necromorphs have been replaced by a new enemy referred to as "the hive mind".

None of this has been confirmed in any official capacity, but this very same source outed the reboot of Syndicate months before an official announcement was made by EA. Moreover, two paragraphs in the Siliconera article provide detailed descriptions of story-heavy segments of the game, which seem to lend credence to the leak.
