Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc HD remake coming to XBLA and PSN
In celebration of the release of Rayman Origins, Ubisoft announced that it will be re-releasing Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc with a high-definition upgrade for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network.
For those who missed out, Hoodlum Havoc is the third game in the Rayman series, and it first came out in 2003 for the original Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, PlayStation 2, and Windows PC. It told the story of how Rayman took on the evil Andre and his army of Hoodlum soldiers.
This HD re-release will feature enhanced graphics (as is usually the case with HD remakes), and plenty of extra content for fans and newcomers alike, such as nine stand-alone mini-games, Achievements / Trophies, and worldwide online leaderboards. Plus, the game has been upgraded so that those HD graphics run at a smooth 60 frames per second, while the audio quality gets a noticeable improvement. Nice.
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc HD releases this spring.
