Machinima will be hosting the 2011 Inside Gaming Awards live via the Machinima YouTube Channel on December 9, 2011.
An official start time was not given, but the coverage will commence early with red carpet arrivals, continuing on with the actual award ceremony and post-reception wrap-up live from The Music Box in Hollywood, CA.
Last year, Rockstar Games stole the show with five awards for its work on Red Dead Redemption, bringing home Game of the Year, Best Narrative, Most Compelling Character, Best Original Score, and Best Sound Design honors. Call of Duty: Black Ops and God of War III both garnered two awards apiece, while Minecraft netted the Gamers' Choice Award even though it was still technically in beta.
