Move over WoW, here comes WoT; World of Tanks surpasses 18 million registered users

World of Tanks is now eighteen million strong worldwide. The award-winning game developer Wargaming.net made the announcement earlier today:
"We want to thank our game community for their support," Victor Kislyi, CEO, told fan. "Having so many devoted players is extremely rewarding, and our company will provide them with tons of new content to enjoy."
World of Tanks, a vehicle-based PvP MMO has made huge waves since its release in Russia on August 12, 2010, entering into the European, North American, and Asian markets, and swelling by millions in just over a year. What's more, the title currently holds the Guinness World Record for "Most Players Online Simultaneously on one MMO Server" – something even Blizzard has yet to do.
Kudos to Wargaming.net. Here's hoping they continue to provide the excellent and quality service for which they've come to be known.
