Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective now available on the App Store
Did you miss Capcom's Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective when it came out last year (or in 2010 if you live in Japan)? Whatever the reason (be it a lack of interest, of a lack of a Nintendo DS, or a lack of information about the game), Capcom has you covered.
Today, it was announced that the game is now available on the iTunes App Store for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in North America and Europe. This may be news for most of you, unless you live in Japan, in which case you have been able to play Ghost Trick on iOS devices since December… of 2010.
(Somehow, I, as a North American, feel duped by Japan)
Anyway, features included in this version are "intuitive" touch screen controls, enhanced graphics, and support for wider screens, giving players a wider viewing area. The game is also fully localized in English, German, Spanish, and Italian.
An important note about Ghost Trick for iOS: you can get it for free… the first two chapters, that is. All chapters following will be available in three different packs, with prices ranging from $4.99 / £2.99 / €3.99 for each, to $9.99 / £6.99 / €7.99 for all chapters via In-App Purchase.
We've included the HD screenshots of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective found in the iPad version for your viewing pleasure.
