You want more Skylanders-related news. You know you do. Well, in my benevolence, I shall bestow not one, but two news stories relating to the franchise. Am I not nice?

The first piece of news comes by way of Toys R Us and Activision, who today revealed that the new Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Legendary Triple Pack is now available exclusively at Toys R Us stores worldwide. The Triple Pack will feature "Legendary" versions of Skylanders's Bash, Chop Chop, and Spyro (give him his own game, Activision!) with boosted stats not available in their standard forms.

The second news piece is noticeable, as it shows just how far some people are willing to go to own a rare Skylander. It has come to our attention (thanks to GameInformer) that six rare figurines (you can sense the rarity just from the gold and silver paintjob) have gone on sale through eBay. So far, the auction for said figurines has raked in nearly $1,000. (*Makes whistle noise*)

The auction will go on until tomorrow, but I doubt most of you reading this will feel inclined to try to outbid the top bidder. It just goes to show you how big a phenomenon Skylanders has become.
