Will the next iPad be revealed on March 7th?

Apple has confirmed to the press that the next iPad event will take place on Wednesday, March 7th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco, California.
No other details were confirmed, but the statement attached to the following graphic seems to point to the long-speculated iPad 3 release.
"We have something you really have to see. And touch."
