Bethesda Softworks has just released  new screenshots and concept art for Dishonored, the first-person action game in development at Arkane Studios. 

According to the Bethesda presser, "Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge." Players are expected to "creatively eliminate" their targets, combining supernatural abilities, unique weapons, and unusual gadgets for maximum effectiveness. The combat system is flexible, so you can stealth about, dive in head first, or utilize any combination thereof. The outcome of each mission, however, is wholly dependent on how you deal with the situation. 

Dishonored is currently scheduled to release later on in 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Enjoy all the new assets, and check out the rest of the Dishonored screenshots in our image gallery.
