BioWare releases 'Update 1.2: Legacy' for Star Wars: The Old Republic
BioWare and LucasArts today released "Game Update 1.2: Legacy" for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
The dev. team is describing this update as "massive," bringing "an incredible amount of new high level gameplay content for players and also includes the evolution of the Legacy System, a feature that ties all of your characters together into one family, regardless of class or faction, and allows them to unlock custom new abilities."
Game Update 1.2 also includes subtle yet anticipated tweaks such as the ability to customize the user interface, the inclusion of guild banks, as well as numerous gameplay and balancing fixes.
Active players as of April 12, 2012, or returning players as of April 21, 2012 will be rewarded with an in-game Legacy Reward. This is the Tauntaun Ram Pet. If you're new to the game, you can still get the reward, but you'll have to be a full subscriber to The Old Republic before April 21, 2012.
BioWare and EA are also giving away free game time to all active subscribers who have hit level 50 character by April 12, 2012; 30 free days to be exact. Former players with inactive accounts can get back in the saddle with seven free days starting April 13, 2012.
