Dragon's Dogma demo coming next week; new Cockatrice gameplay trailer inside
Today, Capcom confirmed the release date for the demo of its upcoming action-RPG Dragon's Dogma.
Said demo will see its release next Tuesday, April 24, worldwide for Xbox LIVE and in North America for PlayStation Network. European PSN users will be able to get their hands on it the following day, April 25.
Players will get a chance to try out two of the game's character classes: the Fighter, who specializes in up-close melee combat, and the Strider, who can grab onto giant monsters and attack whilst climbing all over them Shadow of the Colossus-style. The demo will feature separate enemy encounters for both classes.
In addition, players will be able to create their own warriors in the demo with robust character-creation tools. The neat thing about this is that the characters created in the demo can be downloaded into the full game once it launches at retail.
Dragon's Dogma releases for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22 in North America and on May 25 in Europe. Here's a new trailer to bide your time until then.
