Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Santa Monica Studio have officially confirmed God of War: Ascension exclusively for PlayStation 3. The leaked trailer from last night is the real deal, and we've gone ahead and posted the game's official logo below.

While few substantive details were divulged today other than the confirmation, Sony did reveal that more details will be outed at an upcoming streamed event.

The live Q&A with GoW: Ascension Game Director Todd Papy will take place on April 30, 2012 at 8 am PST through the PlayStation Blog and via God of War: Ascension on Facebook.

Check out the God of War: Ascension trailer below as well.
