With the newest issue of PC Gamer reaching mailboxes, the long awaited and partially confirmed Company of Heroes 2 is officially announced.

Company of Heroes 2 announced for PC (Relic, THQ)

The follow up to the WWII RTS title developed by Relic Entertainment, Company of Heroes 2 takes place in the Eastern front as players control the Russians.  Snow plays a big part in the gameplay, slowing down the speed of troops but also providing cover.

Due for release in 2013, COH 2 is the third title in the series (not including expansions), following an attempt to bring the series to the F2P genre in 2010 with Company of Heroes Online.
