Harmonix working on a music-based, motion-controlled adventure for next-gen consoles
Gaming sleuth Superannuation has uncovered details concerning Harmonix's next project.
According to several tweets and job listings posted on Harmonix's official site, the Rock Band developer is hiring talent to work on a "brand new IP" for "next-generation consoles." Interestingly, Harmonix is specifically looking to hire on a narrative designer, so it is likely we will be treated to an actual storyline.

Superannuation points out that this project will be an "innovative music-based motion-gaming IP," have "environments that encourage & reward player exploration," and feature "combat encounters, environmental interactions, AI behaviors, & other scripted elements." Apparently, Harmonix is attempting to make a "dramatic" and "emotionally compelling" AAA adventure that's long on both music and story.
Can Harmonix pull it off? Let us know.
