Rumor: Microsoft preparing Internet Explorer 9 for Kinect integration on Xbox 360
The Verge has once again cited unnamed sources concerning developments over at Microsoft. Last week, the tech news site outed the $99 Xbox 360 + Kinect bundle and unearthed the development of Kinect Play Fit.

Going off information provided by its sources, Verge says "Microsoft is currently testing a modified version of Internet Explorer 9 on its Xbox 360." Additionally, Internet Explorer 9 on Xbox 360 will integrate both motion-based and voice recognition functionality if users own Kinect. This version is supposed to be fully functional web browsing experience that will use Microsoft's Bing search, which came to the console back in November 2011.
A release date has yet to be targeted, but we will likely hear more from Microsoft on Monday, June 4 at its media event in Los Angeles the day before E3 2012 officially starts.
