Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown release date and price set for PSN and XBLA
SEGA announced today the release date of the long-anticipated XBLA and PSN title Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown for Europe and North America.
Releasing on June 5 on PSN and June 6 on XBLA, the feature-packed title will surprisingly release for $14.99 (£9.99 / AUD$18.25 / €12.99) on PSN and 1200 Microsoft Points on XBLA.
Character customization items will be made available in character-specific packs with about 600-950 items with a cost of $4.99 (£3.59/AUD$6.25/€4.49) on PSN and 400 Microsoft Points on XBLA.
In addition, there will be two bundles made available, one with 9 characters and the other with 10, that will cost $14.99 on PSN and 1200 Microsoft points each.
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown is the latest version of the famous fighting game series. In addition to adding two new fighters, Virtua Fighter 3's Taka Arashi and newcomer Jean Juro, the game adds quite a few modes from the arcade release such as a detailed training mode, 8-player online match mode, and the ability to save and upload replays.
