Rumor: Battlefield Premium service to emulate Call of Duty Elite
You know what time it is, my dear readers? That's right, it's rumor reporting time! Today we have one from Battlefieldo.com, who claims that a "very reliable source" let them in on some exclusive information.
According to them, EA and DICE will be releasing a premium content service for Battlefield 3, called Battlefield Premium. Similar to Call of Duty's Elite service, Battlefield Premium will provide players with a number of content drops containing in-game items that cannot be found anywhere else.

"C.E.O. says if we start charging THESE people, we should be able to break through the summer sales slump!"
While Battlefieldo did not reveal how this service would work and when it would begin running, they did reveal that the first of these content drops will bestow upon players a special Premium knife and a special black dog tag, as well as a set of soldier camos, weapons camos, dog tags, and Assignments with which to deck out your warrior of war to your preference.
Additionally, Battlefieldo said that Battlefield 3 will be getting another DLC pack after the previously announced End Game. The currently unnamed DLC is said to be releasing in March of next year.
Remember, folks, all of this is just rumor. There has yet to be any official word proving the existence of Battlefield Premium, or even the fifth DLC pack. If there is any weight to this story, though, then the chances of us hearing about them soon are good. Only time will tell.
Until the next rumor.
