Myst and Red Faction II are on PS3 thanks to PSN release
Two classic games are headed to the PlayStation Network today, as Sony Computer Entertainment announced the release of Myst and Red Faction II for the PlayStation 3.

Myst arrives as a port of the PlayStation One version of the mega-popular puzzle and adventure game from the 90s. Players explore the island of Myst as they research the notes of the mysterious Atrus. Through these notes, players will find the solutions to puzzles that open gateways to different worlds in an attempt to solve the mystery of Atrus' and his sons' disappearance.

Red Faction II is the second installment in the popular Red Faction series. Running on the Volition Geo-Mod engine, which for 2001 allowed an unprecedented degree of environmental destruction, Red Faction II offered standard FPS but differed itself through the traps players could lay for enemies. Throughout the game, players go on multi-objective missions as they control Alias, a genetically-enhanced super soldier.
In addition to the newly added classics, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II and PixelJunk 4am among others are the highlights of this week's releases.
