Pokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro are coming to the Nintendo eShop by year's end

The Nintendo 3DS will soon become a lot more… Pokémon-y (can't think of a better way to word it at the moment), as a pair of brand new Pokémon titles are coming to the 3DS's eShop later this year.

First is Pokémon Dream Radar, a shooting game where you use the 3DS's gyro controls and Augmented Reality capabilities to hunt down and capture Pokémon as if they're appearing in the real world (in eye-popping 3D, no less). Think Face Raiders, just with Pokémon.

Pokemon Dream Radar and Pokedex 3D pro coming to Nintendo 3DS eShop

While this might sound like something that can only keep a gamer's attention a few times, Pokémon Dream Radar comes with a variety of neat features like the ability to send the Pokémon you catch to your copy of Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2 (due next month in Japan for the Nintendo DS), giving you more options for how to fill up your Pokédex.

Speaking of which, the other new title just so happens to be an upgraded version of the 3DS's Pokédex 3D app. What may bum some is that Pokédex 3D Pro will not be free like the previous version, but in return you will have access to info on every single Pokémon that has ever appeared in a Pokémon game. To put that in perspective, you'll have info on over 600 Pokémon. That's a lot.

Release dates haven't been revealed, but we'll probably see Pokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro in the fall, after the release of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
