EDI, Kaidan, and Admiral Hackett are making a return in Mass Effect 3's 'Extended Cut' DLC
BioWare's "Extended Cut" DLC for Mass Effect 3 is just around the corner. They've been pretty tight-lipped about it, and as a result, we've found out very little – only that it's going to flesh out the ending to a large degree.
Today, we found out that both Larry Henriksen and Tricia Helfer (the voice actors for Admiral Hackett and EDI, respectively) confirmed that they've done some additional voicework for BioWare.

In a G4 interview (and over Twitter) Henriksen spoke about how he'd done another voice session with the company, stating that "they're saying there's a little bit of a problem with the abruptness of the ending, so we did a whole series of things to add to the end of the game, to live up to the quality they've been doing."
Earlier this month, Raphael Sbarge, Kaidan Alenko's voice actor, confirmed that he's also done a spot of additional work, according to Gaming Blend.
"Just when you thought I would never go back, they keep pulling me back in Mass Effect. Recording," he tweeted.
The extended Cut DLC arrives in June, and will feature new cut-scenes and additional content, which Bioware hopes will be a better reflection of the choices their players made across the Mass Effect trilogy.
