Square Enix registers domain for Just Cause 4, implying the existence of JC3

It's been a while since we've heard much regarding the Just Cause series, but that may soon change, as reported by Fusible, who discovered that Square Enix had recently registered a number of domain names for "Just Cause 4".

Just Cause 3 and 4 domain names registered by Square Enix (PC, PS3, Xbox, 360)

According to Fusible, Square, with the help of the Internet brand protection firm Corporation Service Company, was not only able to secure the dot-com, but also the same domain in different country code extensions. The domains include JustCause4.com, JustCause4.fr, JustCause4.co.uk, JustCause4.de, and JustCause4.it. There was even a domain alluding to "Just Cause 3", JustCause3.it

Remember, though, that Square Enix hasn't even announced Just Cause 3 yet, so it's possible that this is just Square taking pre-emptive measures to prevent anyone else from using the domains. But then again, it may very well be a sign that the publisher has some big Just Cause-related news on the horizon.

Only time will tell.
