Moonraker revealed as first of six mission settings for 007 Legends
Last month it was revealed that James Bond would be starring in a new video game called 007 Legends. The game will feature an ambitious plot that will connect six classic Bond films. But aside from the upcoming Skyfall, it was not revealed what other movies would be in the game.
However, that has now been remedied… to a degree; Activision has revealed the first of six mission settings for 007 Legends as Moonraker.
Released in 1979, Moonraker tells the story of Agent 007 as he sets off to stop mad industrialist Hugo Drax from poisoning the Earth's atmosphere from the comfort of his space station. And it is this movie that forms the basis for the first of the six missions awaiting players in 007 Legends. As they make their way through Drax's station, players will have to use stealth and be ready to team up with rather questionable allies in order to see the mission through.
This is just one of the many exotic locales awaiting players as they lead Bond through the game. And just like in the films, they'll have state-of-the-art gadgets, various weapons (like Bond's classic Walther PPK), and sweet rides at their deposal as they rid the world of evil, Bond-style.
Look for 007 Legends this fall on PS3 and Xbox 360.
