New multiplayer content coming to Mass Effect 3 with the Rebellion Pack DLC
While many of you are waiting for the Extended Cut DLC for Mass Effect 3, BioWare's got some new multiplayer content on the way to keep you tided over until then. Available for a free download over the relevant networks, the Mass Effect 3: Rebellion pack brings to the table two new maps, a new objective, new characters, and a new equipment slot.
Firebase Jade is a Salarian STG base on Sur'kesh, where Firebase Goddess is a warzone located on Thessia; two locations that, until recently, weren't present in Mass Effect 3's multiplayer experience.

This pack will also feature six new characters to unlock; unfortunately, still through the purchaseable "content pack" system. These characters include an ex-Cerberus Adept / Vanguard, a Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, and a Male Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator.
As for the in-mission objective, Retrieval will have players seek out a secure package and deliver it to an extraction zone. The new Gear Slot, meanwhile, features a persistent bonus which lasts between maps, with new items ranging from weapon upgrades to character enhancements- available, of course, through reinforcement packs.
Finally, rounding off all the new content is an array of powerful new weapons: The Cerberus Harrier, Krysae Sniper Rifle, and Reegar Carbine.
