Zone of the Enders HD Edition dated; new 'Enders Project' in development at Kojima Productions
Big news for fans of the Zone of the Enders series. At today's Zone of the Enders HD ReBOOT Preview event, it was announced that the release date for Zone of the Enders HD Edition has finally been set for October 25.
And yet, that's not even the biggest news. During a talk session, Hideo Kojima revealed that Kojima Productions has begun work on a ZOE sequel, which is currently being referred to as "Enders Project."
According to Famitsu.com, as picked up by Andriasang, Kojima indicated that Enders Project is in an early prototyping phase at the moment, and that key staff, like producer Ryosuke Toriyama, are conducting tests on what they can pull off on the studio's Fox Engine.
Also revealed during the talk, this time by Toriyama, was that he and his staff are making real models and converting them into Fox Engine assets; you can get a look at one of these models, along with some concept art, below.
