Just Cause team, Avalanche Studios, is working on multiple current and next-gen projects for Square Enix
According to Eurogamer, Avalanche Studios, developer of the Just Cause games, said that it's working with Square Enix on a new "ground breaking" open-world "action title". While not mentioned in detail, it is easy to assume that the game could be the long-rumored-but-unannounced Just Cause 3, especially since several domains for "Just Cause 4" were just registered a week ago.
In an email, the developer said that it was bumping up development on multiple projects for the current and next generation of consoles, which are due out in 2013 and 2014 (the projects, that is). It wasn't made clear whether or not the open-world action title was among these.
In addition, Avalanche confirmed that it is working on two unannounced titles based off movie and comic book franchises. And if related hearsay is to be believed, one of these projects is based off the upcoming, rotted-in-development-hell-for-a-long-time action movie Mad Max 4: Fury Road.
