Ubisoft delivered its press conference, and it pulled it off in style. Here's a quick recap for those aching to hear what Ubisoft showed off and announced.

E3 2012: Ubisoft Press Conference - Highlights, Images, and Videos

After a huge opening dancing number for the promotion of Just Dance 4 (headed by Flo Rida), Ubisoft gave us a little showing of Far Cry 3. From the footage shown, this open world shooter looks to take place in another lush jungle setting and is promised by producer Dan Hay to be a game focused on exploration. Far Cry 2 fans should happy to hear that!

Next on the list was Splinter Cell: Blacklist, along with an announcement for Avengers: Battle of the Earth for Wii U. This led to more Wii U announcements, including a big demo of Rayman Legends. Senior director Michael Micholic showed off Rayman Legends controls using the Wii U Pro controllers and GamePads. There will be an ability to have up to five players using the controllers in all different manners to control the game.

The Wii U exclusive announcements continued with Zombi-U, a game which will take place during the zombie apocalypse. We also got word of more Wii U titles including Rabbids Land, YourShape: Fitness Evolved 2013, Sports Connection, Skid to Victory, and, of course, Just Dance 4.

Afterward, Ubisoft wrapped up the good word on Wii U titles, a new trailer for Assassins Creed III was finally delivered. The gameplay trailer, manned by producer Francios Pelland, showed off a whole slew of interesting mechanics, both old and new, along with the brand new American Revolution setting.

Though Assassins Creed III seemed to steal the show, there was still more press conference left afterwards. Shootmania, an FPS, was also announced and looked to be similar to more old school multiplayer FPSs.

Finally, Ubisoft ended the conference with an announcement of their newest IP: Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs will be an open world sandbox game which enables players to take the role of a hacker who can tap into vast social network. Though it seems you can hack all sort of things in game, including streetlights, there also seems to be plenty of explosions and gunplay. However, it also looks like not only can the player essentially hack the world, but be hacked himself.

And those are the highlights from Ubisoft's 2012 E3 press conference. Looks like there's a lot of good gaming to look forward to! Just one question... again: where is Beyond Good & Evil 2? Is it really a lost cause?
