Insomniac Games is upping the ante for Ratchet & Clank's 10th Anniversary Celebration. Along with the Ratchet & Clank Collection HD re-release, this year will mark the launch of a new game in the series.

On the PlayStation Blog, Insomniac CEO Ted Price announced Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, a brand new game which will be exclusively available to download from the PlayStation Store this fall.

Described as a "fun-sized Ratchet adventure," Full Frontal Assault will return to the classic feel of the series' original games, from the camera to the controls to the weapons, while at the same introducing new innovations. In addition, the game will come with online features that will allow friends to play along with you.

Further details were not revealed, but it shouldn't be long before we hear more about Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault. And let's not forget about the Ratchet & Clank Collection, which will be released sometime this summer.
