Microsoft and Epic games Debut Gears of War: Judgment Trailer at E3

We have confirmation. There’s a new Gears of War title on the way. Since the third game didn’t really leave much room for sequels, this one’s going to take place back towards the beginning of the series, shortly after Emergence Day. In Gears of War: Judgement, players will take on the role of Damon Baird, along with Kilo Squad, who’ve apparently managed to get on the COG’s bad side.
The game’s going to feature a new, objective-based multiplayer mode known as Overrun. If I had to draw a parallel, it’s sort of like TF2’s Control Points, right down to the different classes. All in all, sounds like a pretty nifty and unique addition to the game.
The official launch trailer is embedded below, and we’re expecting a few more details about the game to surface as we move further into the week.
