Batman swoops onto the Wii U with Arkham City: Armored Edition
Looks like Batman’s coming to the Wii U. At Nintendo’s E3 keynote this morning, Warner Brothers Interactive and Rock Steady Studios announced that Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition will be hitting the Wii U at launch. Batman’s going to be coming on strong this time around, equipped with an armored suit and making use of a bunch of the Wii U’s new features.

There’ll also be something known as B.A.T. mode, which will allow the dark knight to unleash powerful special attacks once he fills up an attack meter by pummeling criminals. The interior accelerometer will be used to steer remote batarangs, and the touchpad will be used for, among other things, blowing up explosives.
Oh, Catwoman’s also going to be making an appearance, as well. She’ll be fully armored too. I think. If the armor looks anything like her catsuit, I doubt it’d do much more than hinder her movement.
