LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean Announced

Author: GD Staff

Disney Interactive and TT Games today confirmed that LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS / DSi, PSP, and PC in May 2011 -- the same time as the fourth feature film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, is due to hit the box office.

As you might expect, LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean will draw from the entire PotC series, including stages and characters from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, and, finally, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

In all, the game will boast 20 levels and over 70 characters. The campaign will feature cooperative gameplay across all available platforms.
