Author: Peter Grimm

Rumors began circulating yesterday, rumors saying that Capcom was working on an HD remaster of the 2006 PS2 classic Okami... and it wasn't long before they were confirmed.

Announced by Capcom, Okami HD will take the magic of the original to the PlayStation 3, with all new features added in, such as HD graphics and a 16:9 aspect ratio that'll make one of the most visually stunning video games ever even more so.

Along with the visual upgrades, the remaster will sport the optional ability to use the PlayStation Move to use wolf-god Amaterasu's Celestial Brush to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. Over 50 trophies have also been added for you to discover.

Okami HD will launch on the PlayStation Network this fall for the price of $19.99.
