Mercenary Pack now live for DUST 514; $50 worth of goodies for $20 and guaranteed access to all beta events

The free-to-play, massively-multiplayer, PlayStation 3 exclusive first-person shooter (whoo, that's a mouthful) DUST 514 is still a ways off from releasing, but that didn't stop developer CCP Games from releasing DLC for it.

The content in question is called the Mercenary Pack, and it is now available on the PlayStation Network (and will be in Europe on June 27), despite the fact that the game hasn't even entered Beta yet (more on that in a moment).

For the price of $19.99 (or €17.99 /£13.99 if you live in Europe), players can get their hands on $50 worth of perks, such as $20 worth of in-game currency (for real), a 30-day Skill Point booster, the ability to create spawn points for teammates, and the ability to boost one's melee damage temporarily, as well as a special dropsuit, submachine gun, and grenade.

Along with all those goodies, anyone who forks over the dough for the Mercenary Pack will receive guaranteed access to all of DUST 514 upcoming Beta Events, the first of which begins this Thursday, June 28, with more to come every other weekend afterwards.

If you don't want to pay money to get in, you can sign up for the beta at this link here. However, this is not a guaranteed ticket to the Beta Events, as participants are selected at random. Should you be chosen, though, you will receive a unique dropsuit for every Beta Event, as a commemoration of your time testing the game.

Look forward to DUST 514's arrival later this year. For now, enjoy the DUST 514 Mercenary Pack screenshots.
