Naughty Dog confirms no co-op support in The Last of Us campaign
Although Uncharted developer Naughty Dog has promised multiplayer for their upcoming post-apocalyptic survival title, The Last of Us, that multiplayer won't involve the campaign, which will be an exclusively single-player experience, according to creative director Neil Druckmann.
"We are supporting multiplayer with The Last of Us," said Druckmann. "We're not ready to talk about the details of how multiplayer will be implemented, however, we can say that it is not co-operative within the main campaign."
So… that's both good and bad news, I suppose, depending on where you're standing. On the one hand, there won't be any cooperative multiplayer. On the other hand, there's still going to be an online element.
