Transformers: Fall of Cybertron release date moved up; official box art and Metroplex trailer inside

Activision and High Moon Studios have confirmed that Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be releasing a week early. Originally slated to launch on Aug. 28 in North America, Aug. 29 in Australia, and Aug. 31 in Europe, the game in all its incarnations will now hit retail starting on Aug. 21 stateside, Aug. 22 down under, and Aug. 24 across the pond.

To celebrate the news, Activision has gone ahead and released the official packshots for Transformers: FOC for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 along with a new trailer called "Through the Matrix" that takes an in-depth look at Metroplex, "the city-sized Transformer."
