Xbox LIVE is down; Microsoft investigating problem

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: JC Marx

According to a tweet from Xbox Support, as well as the status page on Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE is currently down. Those Xbox users trying to sign into their LIVE account either with their 360 or through Xbox.com will be unable to for an as-of-yet unknown period of time.

In fact, the cause of the outage is not due to regular maintenance, and Microsoft is currently investigating the problem. In addition to LIVE, it appears the Zune marketplace is also out of service. Oh, and users may have trouble using the TMZ app, as well...

Xbox LIVE service is down (Microsoft, Xbox, 360)

Stay tuned and we will keep you posted. Perhaps it's just a simple glitch *knocks on wood*.
