Top 10 Higher-Profile PSP Games You Need to Download for PS Vita

Those who say the PlayStation Portable (PSP) was failure are only referring to its expectations, not its actual sales. Sony's entry into the handheld business didn't unseat Nintendo's portable throne, but it still solid over 70 million units worldwide, and it amassed a wide library of high-quality games. Many of those games are playable as digital downloads for the PS Vita, where they benefit greatly from the new portable's features - most notably the larger screen, the improved resolution, and the second analog stick. 10. LittleBigPlanet

Since its debut for the PS3, Sony's user-generated platformer has become a fixture of the PlayStation brand. Despite the lack of direct involvement by series creator Media Molecule, the PSP version succeeds in capturing the joy and style of LittleBigPlanet. In addition to the tools for making your own levels, developer Sony Cambridge infused the game with 23 main levels and 14 bonus levels, laced with secrets through and through. Aside from the lack of simultaneous multiplayer, the surreal charm of LittleBigPlanet is undiluted in the PSP version, right down to Stephen Fry's narration.

9. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max

Even after Capcom got around to a Street Fighter IV, SFA3 remains one the greatest 2D fighters of all time, due to its beautiful sprite animation, complex series of fighting styles, and wacky cast of international stereotypes. Unfortunately, the original PSP's clunky D-Pad made Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max a chore to play, as the wide spacing between directional buttons made inputting the elaborate combos a source of physical pain. However, the Vita's streamlined D-Pad removes this problem.
