Assassin's Creed III's AnvilNext engine brings Colonial America to life; tech demo trailer inside
Ubisoft has released a new video for Assassin's Creed III that gives us a glimpse of the tools that make the game possible. Called AnvilNext, the game engine brings Colonial America to life through physics, weather, environmental details, and the ability to render over 2,000 A.I. characters at once.
Here's what ubisoft had to say about AnvilNext:
"Revolutionary physics, animation and weather systems deliver unprecedented realism and a revamped combat systems that delivers the most intense and vivid Assassin's Creed experience to date. Only Ubisoft-AnvilNext has the power to deliver the scale and scope of the biggest Assassin's Creed game ever on October 30."
