CD Projekt RED to show off new Witcher 2 modding toolset at Gamescom
Gamescom, Europe's largest video game convention, is just around the corner, and one of the continent's most successful independent developers and publishers, CD Projekt RED, will make some solid announcements. One revelation in particular will have PC gamers excited: the REDkit.

The REDkit is a complement of modding tools that will allow avid modders "to create complex and non-linear adventures in the world of The Witcher 2".
Little else is known about what this toolset will entail, as CD Projekt RED wants to make waves on the show floor. If I had to hazard a guess for you, I would say look for similar tools to those found in Skyrim's Creation Kit feature set. In other words, robust and powerful tools for the community.
