Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch impresses with a stunning new Gamescom trailer and screenshots
This generation of consoles has been, without exaggeration, dismal for JRPGs. This is especially apparent when you look at the comparative difference in title variety and quality between PS2 and PS3; while the PS3 certainly has the hardware, the PS2 has a far more impressive JRPG library.
Thankfully, Level-5, Studio Ghibli, and Namco Bandai could single-handedly rectify the dearth of interesting JRPGs on PS3 in the West with Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.
The Following Gamescom trailer shown off at the Namco Bandai booth is exceptional for its beauty, attention to detail, emphasis on story, and peerless anime style. Have a gander at the trailer and screenshots, and let us know what you think.
