Six Awesome Video Game Projects on Kickstarter
We've talked about the OUYA before, so there's not a lot more left to say. It'll be the world's first open-source video game console, breaking open the only closed market currently in the gaming industry. It's raised almost a hundred times its original Kickstarter goal, and already there are developers flocking to put games on the platform.
Conclave is basically old school RPG meets "pick up and play". You get to create a persistent character and can join a group at any time, from any web-enabled device, for turn-based, D&D-inspired combat. This one intrigues me, and if they opt to include a campaign creation tool at any point once their game's funded, I might well just have to use it for my own games in the future.
