Quentin Tarantino redefined our expectations of crime dramas and action and adventure. On its face, Grand Theft Auto encapsulates both genres, making some of the most memorable games ever. What the director would bring to the table more than anything would be dialogue unlike anything ever seen in a video game series.

Grand Theft Auto V

The sandbox play format would also allow Tarantino a playground with which to tell an extremely compelling video game story, one that would keep short attention span gamers (like myself) invested to the end.
