5 Game Series that Need a Star... as Executive Producer! - Ridley Scott

Dead Space is what I typically call a fringe game that has developed a following of loyal fans. Now with the third installment waiting in the wings, the game seems to be slowly moving toward becoming just another video game, which is sad. Only Ridley Scott can step in and rein the series in, getting it back to what made it great: scaring the crap out of you. There are only a handful of games that deliver an impressive arsenal, tight controls etc. and still manage to make you feel too terrified to play in the dark. Scott could devise new ways for the player to have a feeling of control, only to be constantly reminded of how wrong they truly are.

Dead Space

There are tons of games that could use a creative influence outside of the usual suspects that make games. This isn't a knock on the writers and creators who make great games, but just an invitation to think outside the box.

If there is a series you could see being produced by a creator from another medium, leave a comment and let the discussion begin!
