BioWare to celebrate the Mass Effect franchise with fans during tomorrow's 'N7 Day'
BioWare has begun its "N7 Day" celebration a day early. As reported a few days back, the Mass Effect Trilogy has launched today, bringing all three Mass Effect games together on Xbox 360 and PC (the PlayStation 3 version, which brings ME1 to the system for the first time, will launch on December 4).
However, that's just the tip of the iceberg, compared to what BioWare has planned for N7 Day itself. Tomorrow, BioWare will celebrate the Mass Effect franchise with its fans around the world, with a multitude of online and in-game activities, which the developer detailed this morning.
Beginning at midnight (12:00am PST tomorrow, just to avoid confusion) and going on until 11:59pm PST, everyone who logs into Mass Effect 3's multiplayer will automatically receive the N7 Day Loyalty Pack, which includes an "ultra-rare" weapon and six consumable items. In addition, BioWare will also offer fans a chance to get a behind-the-scenes walkthrough for ME3's upcoming 'Omega' DLC with the team at BioWare Montreal. All the while, the developer's community team will be keeping an eye out fan-sent photos of those few awesome enough to don N7 gear in front of a camera.
You can stay up to date with BioWare's plans for N7 Day by visiting the official Mass Effect website. Or you can geek out in the comment box below and let us know how you plan to celebrate tomorrow (me, I'm probably going to be writing, gaming, and wondering what you guys are up to tomorrow).
