PlayStation All-Stars DLC to add Gravity Rush's Kat and Starhawk's Emmett to the character line-up

This probably isn't going to excite you to know, on account that it's a rather “duh” bit of info, but PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be getting DLC soon. What is probably going to excite you (unless you're still writing the game off as a Smash Bros. knockoff) is what the DLC will be.

On the PlayStation Blog, Sony announced the game will soon get two new downloadable fighters. Those two fighters are Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from Starhawk. Both characters will be able to employ unique gameplay hooks from their respective games (like Emmett's ability to call down help from the sky and Kat's gravity-warping powers) in battle, which Sony promises will make them some of the most unique fighters in PSASBR.

The DLC that will bring Kat and Emmett to PlayStation All-Stars is still early in development, but Sony says it'll be complete and available for download early next year. Furthermore, for the first two weeks following the DLC's release, fans will be able to get their hands on it for free (so you won't have a real reason not to try them out).

We still have quite a wait for the DLC, so in the meantime, look forward to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale's release a few short days from now (in case you're wondering, the game comes out on November 20 is North America, the day after in Europe, and the day after that in Australia).
