Nintendo made a pair of announcements today concerning the Nintendo 3DS XL.

For North America, a holiday bundle will hit store shelves on Sunday, Dec. 2. This limited edition Blue/Black Nintendo 3DS XL comes pre-loaded with Mario Kart 7 and will still cost just $199.99 (a $39.99 saving

New 3DS XL bundle packs in Mario Kart 7; European 3DS XL owners get free game through eShop

In Europe, owners of 3DS XL can register their handhelds through Club Nintendo. Doing so by January 15 will grant you a code for a free eShop download of one of the following games: 

Codes will be redeemable in the UK & Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, and Russia between January 1 and January 31, 2013. Registration with Club Nintendo is necessary, so follow the link below to register your 3DS XL to qualify.
