Rooker and Reedus to reprise roles in Activision's The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct
Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus (Merle and Daryl Dixon in AMC's The Walking Dead) will be reprising their roles in Activision and Terminal Reality's upcoming title The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
The title will see Merle and Daryl's journey through the Georgia countryside in an effort to reach the supposed safe zone in Atlanta. Players will be put into the shoes of Daryl Dixon, who, along with his brother, will need to fight his way through hordes of walkers, all while making an effort to conserve ammunition. Though Survival Instinct is a first-person shooter, the developer has cautioned that the typical "run and gun" strategy will very likely lead to death.
Along the way, the pair will come across other survivors, and it's up to the player whether Daryl acts friendly or hostile towards them. The title will be hitting the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC at some point next year. You'll know more as soon as we do.
