Three new modes coming to Resident Evil 6 this December
Capcom has confirmed the date for Resident Evil 6's first wave of downloadable content. December 18 is the date on which the new DLC will arrive exclusively on Xbox 360, giving players three new multiplayer modes to try out.
These modes will provide all new ways for players to take on the undead, and each other. In "Predators", one player is tasked with killing off everyone else as the B.O.W Ustanak. "Survivors", meanwhile, spins the traditional versus mode formula around by letting downed players respawn as enemy characters that can attack the human characters. And with "Onslaught", two players go head-to-head in clearing through waves of enemies, while trying to slow each other down by sending enemies over to the other player's screen.

In addition to the new modes on December 18, Capcom will release a free update for Resident Evil 6 that will add an option player-controlled co-op partner for Ada Wong's campaign and a new "No Hope" difficulty. The update will also give players the option to adjust the game's camera to their liking, as well as the option to combine the game's English audio with subtitles for whatever language they choose. The update will be available on December 17.

For now, the new multiplayer modes are set to launch exclusively for Xbox 360 (at a price of 320 Microsoft Points apiece, or 720 MS Points altogether). It remains to be seen if Capcom will release the DLC for the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Resident Evil 6.
